Story
Following the success of last year’s JubiLeeds Big Bike Ride, a team from Leeds Building Society is completing the National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales. These include Ben Nevis in the highlands, Scafell Pike in the Lake District and Mount Snowdon in North Wales. This is approximately 26 miles of rugged mountain terrain with 430 miles of driving in between.
The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s leading heart charity. Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients. Leeds Building Society is hoping to raise £11,000 for this amazing charity - £1 for every foot in altitude our team will climb!
