The Ascension Church sits in the heart of the Ashenground area in Haywards Heath and serves the local community.  

Various recent first aid emergencies have highlighted the need for life saving equipment and so the PCC have agreed to provide a defibrillator which can be used by church members and the wider community.

To help raise money for this project, David Seabrook, one of our parishioners, will be taking on the amazing challenge of a 47.7 mile bicycle ride taking in a visit to all churches in Cuckfield Deanery.  Look out for him on Saturday 13th July as he cycles through the country lanes of Cuckfield, Balcombe, Cowfold and Lindfield or join him for his lunchtime stop on  Staplefield Common.

Remember, David’s efforts and money raised will go towards equipment which could save the life of anyone in our local community.  What a wonderful gesture!
