We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

We have decided to run the London marathon to help us get fitter and to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

Heather was diagnosed with Breast Cancer during the lockdown in 2020, by which stage it had already metastasised and is now Stage 4 (which means that it's spread and although incurable, it is treatable, thanks to the incredible research into cancer treatments).

Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s first comprehensive breast cancer charity and provide support for everyone affected by breast cancer. They are also support projects looking at different aspects of secondary breast cancer – from finding ways to stop breast cancer spreading to finding more effective ways to treat it.

Thank you for visiting our page. Please donate whatever you can to help find treatments, support and hopefully a cure for this terrible disease.
