London2Brighton Challenge 2014 · 24 May 2014 to 25 May 2014 ·

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On May 24th/25th 2014, I will be walking from London to Brighton in memory of my Mum who passed away having suffered with MS all through her adulthood.

It will be very close to the 10th anniversary of her death and so I thought it appropriate that I do something to mark the landmark and wanted to do something BIG! My Mum loved to walk and as that was something that was taken away from her I thought I would  take up the London to Brighton challenge which is a 100km walk done over 24 hours......or however long it takes!

It is vital that research into MS is funded as clever scientist people are getting closer to finding a way to stop, reverse and even cure this disease which can be so cruel to many sufferers, striking them down in the prime of their lives.

PLEASE PLEASE support me. I know many of my friends are doing other amazing fundraising challenges for many other worthwhile causes but even if you can spare the price of a drink or two I would be so grateful.

I will be walking in a team with Jo Cameron and Dani Murray so please take time to visit their pages too.

Thank you so much in anticipation! H xxx
