Story

I lost the use of my left leg and was rushed to St George's Hospital on Wednesday 14th September 2011, next day I had spinal surgery to prevent my condition from worsening. There was no guarantee I'd regain the feeling in my leg, I was 21 years old not knowing what would happen....

Fast forward 7 years....

I've traveled abroad living in two countries, hiked numerous mountains, threw myself out of a plane (ok, the guy I was doing the tandem with threw us out of the plane!), completed 12 Tough Mudders- 9 of those in a 5 month period and in 2019 I'm running the half marathon in Windsor and the London Marathon.

Safe to say the feeling returned to my leg and thats all thanks to the amazing team at St George's. Now is my time to give back so they can continue helping those in need.

I appreciate all the support you are giving me and I am determined to do it. Someone laughed when I told the mI was aiming to do 8 Tough Mudder's in 5 months, so in response I did 9.

Thank you for your donations.
