Hi All

 

As you may or may not be aware my lovely big sister had meningicochal menigitis a few years ago and it was touch and go whether she was going to make it. As you can imagine it was a really devastating time for all of the family. We did not know whether she was going to make it but thanks to all of the doctors and nurses at the Wishaw General Hospital she pulled through.

 

As a family we didn't know very much about the disease and how serious it is and we would like to raise money and try and bring awareness to the cause as this effects many people of many ages and if the symptons are noticed early then this can be life saving.

 

We are taking part in the Glasgow Big Fun Run at Bellahouston Park on Saturday 24th July and we would very much appreciate your sponsorship and support.
