Yorkshire 3 Peak Walk · 28 April 2018

Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders (MSF) is the world's leading medical humanitarian aid organisation. We work in over 70 countries - in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. We are independent, neutral and impartial. We provide medical care where it's needed most.

Story

On the 28th April I will be attempting to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge, a 24 mile (38.6km) route with 1585m of ascent, in under 12 hours.

I will be doing this alongside a group of Year in Industry students from Reckitt Benckiser, to raise money for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders).

This international NGO sends medical teams to conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics to help those who need it most.  Currently, doctors are risking their own lives by providing aid to Rohingya refugees, those fleeing Syria, and in the past were on the frontline of the battle against Ebola in West Africa.

Médecins Sans Frontières is such a worthy cause to support, and any donation you can give is greatly appreciated!
