I set myself the challenge of taking part in the Great North Run this year. I started from scratch, not even being able to run even one mile without stopping! It has taken me a lot of hard work and determination to work towards my half-marathon goal and I'm really nervous, but also excited about the big day. I am a member of my school's Charity Committee, and we have chosen to support Callum's Trust this year. I have decided to fundraise for this charity through my run. Callum's Trust supports lymphoma, leukaemia and myeloma patients and those who are recieving end of life cancer care at home, in the Scottish Borders. The trust also aims to provide funds for the development of a hospice in the Borders. I think that I could really make a difference through fundraising for this charity, and need your help to do this.
