On Saturday 9th June, Heather Slowey, Louise Maddison, Jill Martin, Karen Walker and Sue Burn will embark on the challenge of our lives in memory of our best friend, Kathryn McDermont, who sadly lost her battle against skin cancer on 27th September 2011 aged 44.  She fought with such grace and dignity and it was an honour to call her our friend.

Having known each other for 25 years, spending many a girls weekend in the Lake district, we thought it was only fitting to walk the full 84 miles of Hadrian's Wall, from Bowness-on-Solway to Wallsend

Please help us fight this disease by raising lots of cash for research into Skin Cancer and  also help motivate us to get to the end
