Story
In February 2024, my dad Seumas had his stroke. Since having his stroke he has been left with paralysis on his left hand side and chronic fatigue. I have watched him show incredible strength and determination, making huge progress day by day despite the many challenges he has faced throughout this journey he has never gave up, only getting stronger🙌🏼 my old man inspires me every day, and that’s why I’m taking on this challenge for him and for everyone affected by stroke: to raise awareness, support families, and fund vital research✨
We are endlessly grateful for the love and support from family and friends, as well as the incredible stroke team who cared for my dad for many months. This is why I have chosen to take on this challenge, every mile I complete will be for my dad and so many others on their journey🫶🏼
“Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and gruelling recovery journey. Stroke Association are the UK’s leading stroke support charity, supporting 88,000 stroke survivors and their families every year to find the strength and determination they need to find their way back to life.”
Anything you can give would be really appreciated🫶🏼
