A couple of weeks ago I received the life changing diagnosis of bowel cancer, and more recently informed that it is Stage 4.

I'm 37 and have to beautiful little boys age 9 and 6. 

It's been a really difficult time for us as a family but the staff at Maggies have been amazing. They've offered compassionate & understanding support for us all right from the start.

The leeds centre is a beautiful calm supportive place and I wanted to do what I can to raise money for them so they can continue to support others in they way they have supported us.

I have always wanted to do the full meanwood trail, and now feels like the perfect time to do it and for a great cause. 

I will walk as much as I can and have my wheel chair as a back up plan, we will likely split the walk into two parts. The ridge to the hollies, then the hollies to Golden Acre Park.

We will walk together on the 13th of June with family and  friends 💚
