2021 was not the best year for many reasons. Losing  Mum to stomach cancer (undiagnosed until the day before she died), three family diagnoses of different cancers and then finally a good friend being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. A friend asked me to join her ‘super troupers’ to do the Jurassic challenge. Mum would have approved of doing something positive and in the process to raise money for charity. It seemed like a great idea although I’m not sure my troublesome Achilles will think so by the end of the 34k  walk on the 14th May!?😆
