After not eating anything remotely healthy for the past year or so & only exercising when walking to the petrol station to get more gin, I've decided that a really good idea will be to take part in an event & trek the Alps. The actual Alps. 3 days, 3 countries - Italy, Switzerland & France. 

"Why???" You may ask yourself (I know I am!) 

6 years ago we got the heart wrenching news that dad's cancer had returned & this time there was "no happy ending" (his words) It was terminal. None of us knew what the future held or how long he would be with us. He fought like the hero he was & still is for 5 long years but sadly passed away on April 25th 2018 at The Christie.

The money I raise will be going directly to Prof Hawkins & his Gene & Immunotherapy fund. Prof Hawkins & his team enabled us to spend 5 more years with dad & for that, I'll always be so grateful.  

I'll be updating this page (& my Facebook & Instagram) with pictures of me struggling to walk up speedbumps so you can laugh, follow my journey & watch my progress (hopefully)
