Story
I have been going open water swimming for around 5 years now and I love getting into the cold water, its exhilarating. Once you are in the water and swimming it gives you your own space, time to think. It has been really good for my mental health and wellbeing.
But I have never swum more than around 2km before and the Swim Serpentine event is 2 miles, around 3.3km. I am training for this at the moment and hope I can get round in the time allocated - if the water temperature is low they only allow you to stay in the water for around 90 minutes. Wish me luck!
The COVID 19 virus has put extra pressure on the pharmacy sector. As front-line members of the healthcare system pharmacists spend much of their lives serving others.
