Dear one and all

I'm taking part in this year's Relay For Life as part of Team Pink ladies and H to fundraise for Cancer Research UK. Relay For Life celebrates the power of community fundraising to make breakthroughs happen. Across the UK and the globe, teams of friends, families and colleagues fundraise for world-leading research to save and improve lives, then unite as a community at an event to honour everyone affected by cancer and celebrate the progress we’re making.

As ever I walk in memory of my Dad and for those who are battling with cancer today. If the years have taught me anything it's to live for now, and go and live your dreams, how ever short lived they are, they're still your dreams, go reach for the stars because they are for you to have.

The festival is focused around a 24-hour relay where teams take it in turns to walk around a track to show that together we’ll do whatever it takes to beat cancer. The event this year is at Portsmouth Rugby Club, from noon Saturday 12th July to noon Sunday 13th July, if you're in the area why not pop by, live music and refreshments available all day.
