Clean water is such a basic human need that it breaks down the countries, cultures and kilometres between us.  That's why Northumbrian Water are committed to helping WaterAid get clean safe water and life-saving toilets to everyone everywhere.  I know from personal experience, when I visited Malawi in 2015, how transformational this can be to people's lives and future prosperity.  Drinking just water this January is hopefully another way I can raise awareness and support for WaterAid's fantastic work!  This year there is the added benefit that for every £1 WaterAid raise, the Government will match it!

Having done Just Water last year, I know it will be a challenge, interestingly, I missed the coffee more than the wine and I know many of you will empathise with that!!  That said, I will be spurred on by knowing you are supporting me, and who knows I might lose a bit of weight and get some better sleep!
