I have been very fortunate in my life. And here is my chance to give back. 

Years ago I read the autobiography of Sir Ranulph Fines, one of the greatest living explorers. He set himself a target to collect 2 million GBP worth of donations for charities in his lifetime. And while he his infinitely more famous than I am, I decided to do the same. 

My own target is 250.000 EUR over my lifetime. I am not sure I will ever reach that number, but every step in that direction is a step worth taking.  

So, what will I do? 

I found joy in doing sport challenges and would like to combine this with raising donations. In 2016 I collected 1840 EUR, in 2017 a further 1160 EUR and in 2018 I took 935.81 EUR. My plans for 2019:

What can you do? 

You can support the charities by donating on this page. You can make others aware of this chance to give back. Furthermore, talk to me about my challenges (or to others). This will motivate me to do even more (and help me through the pain of the events above). 

For your information:

I will make sure that 100% of your donations reach the charity. Since this webpage takes a small fee, I will match this fee and offline donate it to the charity directly. Also, I have set the target here to 7500 at the moment. I will raise it whenever we are getting higher in the donations.
