Usually around this sort of time in the year I would been running my 24 hour football match with over 90 participants. However, this has had to change this year, so after thinking about what I could do I thought of another 24 hour event that I could do with minimal risk to anyone else.
So I will be walking constantly for 24 hours, stopping only for toilet breaks.
It won’t be possible to raise as much as previous events but if I reach that limit that I’ve set them that would be awesome!!!! Especially given the times we are in and the financial worries we all face.
That’s why, more than ever, this charity could do with money being raised for them. I go on about it all the time, that’s because I know what it’s like and I know how many more suffer from it. Mental Health isn’t something that’s just in trend at the moment, it is something that’s been a problem for years and we are finally getting round to doing something about it.
