At Christians Against Poverty, we equip local churches to support people facing debt and other financial challenges. We campaign for a redesigned society that works for everyone, including those on the lowest incomes. Find out more about us at capuk.org or follow us on social media.

Story

CAP (Christians Against Poverty) is passionate about releasing people in the UK from debt, poverty and its causes, working in partnership with local churches. Through its UK debt centres CAP helped 2,450 people become debt free in 2019.

The CAP Forth Valley debt centre was established almost two years ago and is supported by seven local churches including Stirling Baptist Church

We have set ourselves the challenge of running 5km a day, every day in the month of March (Sarah in Edinburgh and Helen in Larbert) - that is a total of 155km! This is to raise money specifically to support the work of the Forth Valley Debt Centre. As lockdown eases and the government furlough schemes come to an end there will be an increased demand for help with debt. We would be very grateful if you would consider making a donation to this worthy cause if you are able. Many thanks.
