It seems ironic to be raising funds for Wateraid just as hosepipe bans are introduced throughout the UK. However, perhaps it highlights what a small inconvenience a hosepipe ban is compared to living somewhere with no water at all.

I have been trying to get some more miles into my legs over the last few weeks and Riley has been reaping the benefits too. Unfortunately a lot of my training has been in very poor weather so fingers crossed the weather perks up before 13th May. Phil has joined me walking on the north downs in preparation for his 3 peaks climb which he starts on 14th May. However, our map reading and orienteering leaves a lot to be desired! Just as well Hengistbury Head to Swanage doesn't require much map reading at all and anyway I'll be able to follow the crowd!
