Participants: My Mum Olive Perry is 92 and lives in Bangor North Wales so we will do the challenge together virtually.
We're challenging people to complete 140,000 steps in March to celebrate Mother's Day and to acknowledge the 140,000 people currently living with MS in the UK.

Story

My Mum’s 92 and lives in an assisted living flat in Bangor North Wales. She’s a gutsy lady and although she may not be able to complete the distance herself together we can although we’ll walk/run together virtually. Let's do this in celebration of mums everywhere!You can take on this challenge:· In person with your mum· Virtually with your mum (in the UK and across the globe)· In memory of your mum140,000 steps equates to 66 miles or 106 kilometres so you can spread the challenge out over a few days, weeks or over the entire month of March. Whatever suits you! But however you complete your challenge, we want to see plenty of photos of you and your mum running, walking or stepping your way to success!Run with Mum is the ultimate way to support people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Kent and Medway whilst improving your health and fitness.It's completely free to sign up and if you raise £100 for the Kent MS Therapy Centre, youll receive a medal in the post. If you raise £250 in sponsorship, we'll send you a Run with Mum t-shirt as a thank you for your support.#runwithmum*Do make sure you stick to the latest Government guidelines at all times whilst completing this challenge.

The Kent MS Therapy Centre is committed to supporting people with MS in Kent, their familes and those who care for them. We aim to improve quality of life by providing services such as counselling, physiotherapy,oxygen therapy and specialist clinics, in a happy, caring and supportive environment.
