South Coast Challenge 2021 · 4 September 2021 to 5 September 2021 ·

The aim of the Sussex Wildlife Trust is to conserve Sussex landscape, wildlife and its habitats and to use its knowledge and expertise to help the people of Sussex to enjoy, understand and take action.

Story

As it's my 40th birthday this year, I wanted to do something special (silly!) to celebrate it so I'm running 55k in aid of the wonderful Sussex Wildlife Trust.  SWT have been amazing in supporting the Benfield Valley Project, which I set up in 2020, providing advice and guidance throughout the process.  On a personal level, their local sites have given me and the family somewhere beautiful to visit during lockdown and the SWT's children's activity packs gave me new and inventive ways of engaging Aila and Drew during homeschooling.
