Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My little boy James was diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome when I was 20 weeks pregnant. My husband and I decided to carry James to term so that we and all of our friends and family could meet our little man and so that he could experience something of life. James lived for 9 days and it was the most precious period of my life. We wrote a bucket list for James before he was born and we managed to do everything on the list. We went to the zoo, the beach, we fed the ducks, we went on a boat, it was lovely. James was always in someone's arms, he slept and bathed with his mummy and daddy and big brother Sam. In his short life he knew only love and tenderness. He has made such a huge impact on me and my family and so many other people.

My husband and I have been supported by so many kind people on this journey and Caldy Church in particular have been fantastic. This is why I am running with them to raise money for Christian Aid. To say thank you for everything that they have done for me, my family and baby James.
