Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This September I am travelling to Northern & Central Uganda with the charity 'Teams4U' to some of the most remote and poverty stricken areas imaginable.

Children and Families in these areas live on very little and receive little school education or education on safe sex. Children who have lost their parents to the deadly disease HIV/Aids, are succeptable to this thriving disease unless myself and Teams4U make the difference, but this can not be done without your donations.

This will be my first trip to Uganda, as the feeling of making a difference in a childs life is something truly special, and to touch the lives of the children in such a remote poverty stricken area will be a chance of a lifetime.

Last year, the charity helped save the lives of hundrerds of children and adults, and tested over 800 people in 10 days. This shear ammount of people was due to the fact the mazunga (white people) were in town, and with the use of sport to draw the remote villages together and the free service Teams4U provide.

Please help us to make a massive difference to the lives of children and prevent this deadly disease from spreading.

So please dig deep and donate now however large or small - it is all greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all those who have already dontated, your kindness is much appreciated.

Thank you
Helen & the people of Uganda.
