Turn up the Light Yoga Classes for Mental Healtj · 12 April 2020
I am teaching regular Kundalini yoga lessons via Zoom, every Thursday afternoon 3.30-4.45pm for donations. Kundalini Yoga is an ancient and comprehensive form of Yoga combining mantra (sound), pranayama (breath), asana (posture) and meditation.
I am also teaching The Yoga Therapy for the Mind 8-Week Course via Zoom. The Course is a comprehensive and evidence based program for anyone looking to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. I am also offering the course on a donation basis (whatever you can afford). All donations will go to the NHS. The course will take place every Friday from the 15th of May 3.30-5.00.
The course combines specific yoga therapy techniques with research from the fields of psychotherapy and neuroscience to:
Enhance the functioning of the nervous system
Improve self awareness through the practice of Mindfulness
Both Mindfulness and therapeutic Yoga are well known to improve stress, anxiety and depression. This 8 week course will help you access these profound healing techniques.
