HSBC colleagues established Geeks on Peaks in 2014, with the principle aim to support and raise funds through walking and cycling challenges for Endeavour, a Yorkshire charity which supports disadvantaged young people to develop their full potential. This year we're doing it again, hoping to raise £5,000 for Endeavour by cycling 170 miles from west to east - Morecambe to Bridlington in 2 days!

The main challenge is back on in September and again I will cycle to the
 start and back home from the end.  This time I will be leading a group
of geeks in their quest to follow the Way of the Roses.  Hoping that the rain has stopped by then and we get some decent weather !

The main event got postponed to September due to various issues, so I'm did my own self supported challenge on 6-8th May.

Cycling 90 odd miles to Morecambe from my house,  then cycling the 177miles of the Way of the Roses on the next day (extra milage due to a critical bridge closure). Then the 95 ish miles home from Bridlington on the 3rd day.

Just me and my bike and a few spares. No other assistance. 

I took everything I need with me.  FOOL 🤣
