I am going to shave my head to show support for a dear friend who has been struck by this horrible disease. 

The prospect of be bald is surprisingly terrifying!  This challenge has really brought home to me what a horrible prospect loosing your hair would be and that even still it would be the least of your worrys if it was because of Chemotherapy.

My hair is the one thing I like about myself and it will be a real challenge to get rid of it,  I will  be very grateful for every penny I raise to make it worth while!

Breast Cancer Now have the motto:
If we all act now, we believe that by 2050, no one will die from breast cancer.

and I really want to be a part of making that hope a reality.
