Helen's March Up a Mountain

It has been just over 2 years since the devastating loss of Chloe and I have decided to walk up Ben Nevis this September because I would like to raise money for Tŷ Gobaith in memory of Chloe.
Tŷ Gobaith is a charity which provided my very good friend, Karen Farrell, her family and friends, with amazing support following the most difficult days after Chloe's accident and this support is something for which we are extremely grateful.
Having walked up Snowdon and Scafell Pike already, I am determined to walk up Ben Nevis to conclude walking up the three highest mountains in the UK in the last three years.
Chloe was a huge supporter of Hope House herself and she raised an amazing £10,000 for the charity the year before her accident, by completing the Three Peaks Challenge. Although Chloe completed this within an incredible 24 hours, it will have taken me 3 years to complete it! But I have (hopefully) got there eventually and I'm sure she will forgive her Aunty Helen for the time it has taken.
As a charity, Hope House needs an annual income of over £6.3 million to carry on meeting the needs of all the children and their families who rely on them, and almost all of their income is raised by us within the community. The money raised will help Tŷ Gobaith continue to provide families with support such as on-going counselling, respite and end of life care.
I would like to thank you for your support in advance, and also to thank my friend Denise and hubby Nick who will be marching up the mountain with me!
With love and thanks
Helen
