some of you may know that in 2015 I had a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Following surgery I was ok for 2 and half years. In 2018 I woke up in A&E and have been diagnosed with Epilepsy caused by the surgery.
Before I was diagnosed I had no understanding of Epilepsy and how it varies massively. Epilepsy takes all forms and you wouldn’t know some people have it.
It is a misunderstood, scary, life changing situation that has changed my life.
From never knowing if/when I’ll have a seizure, not being able to drive and to a life now lived on drugs.
I want to help Epilepsy Society raise awareness of this almost invisible medical condition that changes lives for some people forever.
