Our 5 year charity cycling total is now close to £20,000, which "Team 103 Velos au Lac" plan to add to in this year’s challenge by covering 500 miles through the French Countryside over 3 days.  This is to raise money for a very personal charity which supports Professor Nick James at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital who was instrumental in giving our very dear friend Stephen Richards such precious extra time with his family and friends through pioneering prostate cancer treatment.

 

5 years ago we started cycling together for fun fitness and friendship and along the way raise a few pounds for charities close to our hearts. These photos are from the last challenge John'O Groats to Lands End in 2010. A 9 day epic tour for which friends and The Butcher’s Arms customers’ supported us to raise over £4,500 for the 2012 Paralympics for which we are all very grateful.
