Story
Despite being 26 I still can't swim. So, although I'm terrified (and embarassed). I am going to try to learn so that I can swim to raise money for Changing Faces as part of the Face Your Fears campaign in October.
Face Your Fears week is run by Changing Faces every year to highlight the fact that people with an unusual appearance can fear social situations because of discrimination and the seemingly constant staring, comments and questions from other people.
Every pound you donate will go to help end this discrimination and support people struggling to deal with the every day implications of having a visible difference.
On top of that I am pledging to swim an extra metre for every £10 donated. (This might not seem like much but to a non-swimmer that is VERY scary!)
So please dig deep and donate now.
Don't forget to check out Changing Faces website too at changingfaces.org.uk
