I am very proud of what The Lily Foundation has achieved in the 5 years since Lily passed away. When we first established the charity we were perceived as a charity set up in memory of one little girl, my niece Lily (www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk); this is still true, however, today we are much more that that.

We are a charity that is seen as a major support for families who's children are sick or have sadly passed away, a means to raise awareness of a condition that we are beginning to learn so much about and as a souce of funds for groundbreaking research and diagnosis which is changing lives and giving hope to so many.

I am very proud to have been Lily's Auntie and of the strength that she gave us all to build the Lily Foundation.

I thank everyone who has supported us in the past 5 years and thank you again for sponsoring me  for the 2012 East Grinstead Sprint Triathlon. I am very scared and hope I make it to the finish (and also that I don't come last)...
