Story
When I was 19 years old I got diagnosed with psychosis. My final diagnosis was schizoprenia. Living with the condition myself it is extremely difficult not only because of the symptoms but the harsh discrimination that can happen through ignorance and lack of knowledge. It has never defined me and has NEVER made me violent to another person. Because of these harsh stereotypes of a person with schizophrenia, i have experienced the stupidity of people who believe that stereotype is true.
It needs to made aware that it's not acceptable and vastly infactual.
I want to donate to this organisation because during my dissertation on schizophrenia and it's portrayal I came across Rethink's schizophrenia awareness campaign 2015 and i was exactly the experience you have.
