Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am raising funds for research for the Junior Diabetes Research Fund because they do amazing work in supporting children and parents and also carry out invaluable research into how to manage Type 1 Diabetes.  My darling granddaughter Emmeline was diagnosed with Type 1 aged 8 and I don't think anyone can understand the challenges this presents to parents and children managing the condition until you witness the everyday care it requires.  She is doing brilliantly well but I long for a day when she and her parents don't have to think about calibrating her pump 24/7.  So please don't give me presents but do give to JDRF - any small or large amount very much appreciated.
