In July 2024, I am taking on a Mighty Hike in the stunning Gower Peninsula to raise money for people living with cancer.I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. We're doing this as Helen was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma, which is the most severe and dangerous of all of the Skin Cancers back in November 2023, days before her dream trip to Walt Disney World. Through the hard, dark days and still now, her Macmillan nurse is helping her through the maze of emotions that go with a diagnosis. For the next year, Helen has to attend appointments 3 monthly, until her one year cancer-versary and if no further complications,  they will become 6 monthly check ups.
