Story

In October 2016 at 28 weeks pregnant, I drove myself to Russell's Hall Hospital having noticed that my babys movements had decreased. I honestly thought I was being paranoid and that I would be sent home, but I wasn't imagining it, my babys heart rate was very slow and the team decided that my baby needed to be delivered immediately. My little boy Harry was born 12 weeks early weighing a tiny 1lb 12oz. He was whisked straight away and the neonatal team began work to save Harry's life. Finally I got to meet Harry the next day and meet the team that was going to look after him for the next two months, until he was well enough to come home. I had to put so much trust in that team and they never let me or Harry down. They are truly amazing and we can never thank them enough for everything they did for Harry and the support they gave to me.

I'm hoping that raising what I can by doing this run, will go some way to thank them for their hard work and dedication to all those tiny babies and their families
