Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!
From 2nd-9th November we will be leaving Dad to fend for himself, to take part in JNF's Walk for Water.
We will walk 50 miles through the Judean Desert and Dead Sea area in order to raise money to help thousands of families move from the overcrowded cities of central and northern Israel down south into the 60% of the country that remains virtually uninhabited - the Negev Desert.
The aim is to transform dry barren wilderness into fertile land that flourishes with life, providing families with new homes.
Your donation will:
- Help the future development of Aleh Negev, a village which cares for the severely disabled whilst also intergrating them into the wider community. When fully operational, it will be home to over 500 adults, and will serve some 12,000 disabled children and adults each year on a day care basis. It will create 500 jobs.
- Complete construction of Givot Bar, a Negev community. The next project in this community will be a Kindergarten.
- Provide emergency medical care for the residents of development town, Arad, and its environs in the southern Negev. The Arad Medical Centre also dispenses rapid emergency care to tourists visiting the Dead Sea or hiking in the Negev Mountains.
Our target is to raise £3,400 towards this extremely worthwhile cause, and to do so we need your help.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: JNF Charitable Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
Thanks for your support,
