I am a schools coordinator for a wonderful charity called Step. Step is a Christian Schools Work Charity working in the majority of secondary schools in St Albans and Harpenden. We deliver lessons, assemblies, various courses, mentoring, leadership training and other projects in these schools. Step seeks to support the education and spiritual development of local students by creating opportunities to connect with Christians from local churches.

Step has been part of my life from right back when I was in year 7. They continued to play a part in my life as I journeyed through school and when I became a volunteer for them whilst I was at Uni. They were a key part in my journey to find faith and I am delighted to be back working for them.

Last year I cycled 10 miles for the first time in about 10 years. This year I am doubling to 20 miles a distance I have never cycled before! I am doing this all for the love of Step. On Sunday 19th May I will be taking part in the St Albans Charity Cycle ride to complete this challenge.
