Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you that don't already know, our son Leo has been diagnosed with Down's Syndrome which, did come as a bit of a shock, but we are not devastated by any means.  On the contrary, we are very lucky indeed to have him here at all given his tough start to life.

He has proved he is a little fighter and now, on his behalf, we would like to do something to help raise awareness and much needed funds for our local charity and the national association.  By doing so, parents like us can be better informed in the future and additional monies will also help to fund additional research into the causes of Down's Syndrome.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

It is a tough climate at the moment, but I remember being told 'look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves' so whatever you can give would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my page.
