ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

Hello, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

By now you will have no doubt heard me talking about running the London Marathon and going on about all my training. Thinking here she goes again :-).

I needed a new challenge and so applied for and got a charity place to run for Childline. Your sponsorship and support means so much to me. It makes me go out and train on those days when the rain is coming down and it's cold, knowing what I am doing is helping some child.

Childline/NSPCC is one of my chosen charities and it does such a great job helping all the children that are so much less fortunate than my own.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
