Puma HellRunner: Hell In The Middle · 12 February 2011

No parent expects to live longer than their child, but for many of the families we support, this is a reality. Julia's House, the Dorset & Wiltshire Children's Hospice charity provides frequent respite care for children and support for their families at home, in the community and at our hospice.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to view my page.

As your aware im now taking part in my second HellRunner....which takes place on 12th Feb 2011.

The reason im continuning to take part in this type of event is to raise money
for Julia's House. Julia's House is in Dorset and is the only hospice dedicated
to children with life-limiting conditions. The majority of the children they
care for are unlikely to live beyond the age of 18.

As a father myself, i can see how important a charity such as Julia's House is
in supporting children and parents. I cant imagine how  families cope with the
pressure. But i do know that we can do somethng to aid them in making it easier
and less stressfull.

I have also kindly got backing from "Bournemouth Ink",who will be sponsoring me in the event and are going to get invloved in adding exposure to Julia's House
and supporting the charity. This will hopefully lead to other local companies
wanting to help to make a difference.

All I ask, is for you to take a minute of youre time to think about what we can
do to as individuals and dig deep and donate to make that small factor in
putting a smile back on peoples faces.

I will suffer during the event, but not a tiny % as much as these kids currently do.

Thanks in advance

Mark
