Hello lovely people - thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Along with Moira and Chris, I'm representing Help Me Stop Winchester at Trinity's Big Sleep Out. On Friday 13th May, we're building cardboard shelters in the grounds of Winchester Cathedral, donning our waterproof PJs, and sleeping out under the stars. We're fundraising for the brilliant Trinity Winchester - they support over 650 people each year who are experiencing the effects of homelessness or vulnerability. We are not scared at all about sleeping in a graveyard on Friday 13th (okay, we are a bit!) - but it does promise to be a wonderful all-nighter, full of community spirit, so we're very excited too. We've got to know this wonderful charity in recent months, because in May 2022, Help Me Stop Winchester is opening in association with Trinity Winchester. Help Me Stop Winchester will provide affordable and accessible alcohol and drug rehab to adults in Hampshire, based in Trinity Winchester's premises. We are looking forward to being part of the solution to alcohol and drug dependence in the area.
