Story

In this blessed month, Palestine is once again facing a dangerous escalation in violence, with over 150 recently injured whilst in prayer at the holy site of Masjid Al Aqsa. Human Appeal is on the ground supporting those injured with food and medicine, and continuing our emergency projects in Palestine. Palestine needs your mercy now.

Palestine crisis continues

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "The likeness of the believers in regard to mutual love, mercy, and kindness is that of a body. When any part aches, the whole body aches." (Bukhari)

In this blessed month, Palestine is once again facing a dangerous escalation in violence, with over 150 recently injured whilst in prayer at the holy site of Masjid Al Aqsa.

For three days running, military forces have stormed Ramadan prayers in Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron has been stormed for a second day in a row.

A series of airstrikeshave taken place in Gaza, which mercifully haven’t claimed any lives but have damaged homes.

Last Ramadan, Palestine witnessed an intensification in violence that began in Al Aqsa and Jerusalem before escalating into airstrikes in Gaza.

Human Appeal is in Palestine, continuing our emergency programmes which provide food, life-saving medical aid and clean water to the most vulnerable, while our local team is on standby in case of further escalations.

In the meantime, we’re continuing our rebuilding work in Gaza, which remains in a state of emergency as a result of last year’s attacks, which destroyed homes, roads, and the water network.
