Story
Earlier this year we found out mum had cancer!
Since her diagnosis and even before that she has had unwavering support from the Macmillan team of nurses. During the whirlwind of appointments, doctors, consultants and surgery the Macmillan nurses have made my parents feel so cared for, included and like they are the only patients on the list (when we all know that is sadly not the case). As a family we want to support Macmillan in the same way they have supported our family and that is why we are raising money for this wonderful service.
My mum has been a true inspiration during the emotional physical and mental battles that go hand in hand with a cancer diagnosis and it’s treatment. She’s my HERO! So with that in mind while Mum goes through her next battle; chemotherapy. My big brother and I are taking on our own challenge a HERO WOD called Murph.
