United Through Sport is a charity dedicated to transforming lives through sport. We do this by improving education, raising health awareness and building life-skills in young people from disadvantaged communities from around the world. We are currently working with more than 50,000 kids.

Story

We are aiming to raise at least £6,000 for a charity called United Through Sport. Forty of the fourth form from Wellington College will be going to South Africa on October 19th for 8 days to help create a vegetable patch at a township primary school. We will all either be cycling 85 miles, running 10 miles, rowing 7 miles or using the cross trainers to reach a distance of 10 miles. This money will allow the students at this school to be self-sufficient with vegetables in an area of extreme poverty near Port Elizabeth. The Welingtonian's will each buddy up with a student at this township school and work together to complete the hopefully life-changing project.
