We are fourteen musicians ranging from nine to seventeen who recognise the devastating impact this pandemic has had and continues to have on the music industry. Our goal is to use our talent to raise money for Help Musicians UK, a charity that supports musicians and their careers. We are all aware of how hard it is to make it in this tough industry and due to these unprecidented times there may not even be an industry left for us to enter at all. This is our way of protecting our common love of music and securing our future dreams. Despite this we have collectively already achieved so much. Three of our performers have received recognition at the BBC young musician of the year competition with two reaching the category finals and one the semi-finals. Others are members of national orchestras for example the National Youth Orchestra, National Children's orchestra and the National Schools Symphony Orchestra whilst some have been awarded scholarships to specialist music schools and junior departments of prestigious music conservatories such as Wells Cathedral School and the Royal Academy of Music. As well as this, many performers have won various international competitions.
