Story
After his school closed due to Covid-19, he started lockdown by posting handmade sunshines accompanied with a hand written note 'A little sparkle of hope in the sunshine' through random doors on the street. He had no idea of who lived in the house he had chosen to post them to. From this he received a letter of thanks from a recipient, telling him how much this brightened her day and how she is looking forward to meeting him in person once this is all over.
This then led to Sonny then to putting a little craft stall on his front door step. He painted rocks and made paper crafts to brighten peoples day as they walked by with all proceeds going to the NHS.
Only a few days later he had raised over £200. He hopes to put a smile on peoples faces while raising money to help the NHS in the fight against the virus. His love for crafting is really keeping him going through this lockdown period, which we can only imagine how that seems in a 6 year old's head!
Sonny is an inspiration, his kindness really does shine out of him. He makes us so proud as parents, so thank you for supporting our little boy with a big heart.
Stay home, stay safe, and lets make the most of this time with our loved ones.
