Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page and taking the time to read about the impact Putin’s war is having on the people of Ukraine and my family there.

My cousin, his wife and their 2 daughters (17 and 4 year olds) live in the eastern suburb of Kyiv, Ukraine. Since the second day of this gruesome war they've been hiding in a basement like many others, with a constant fear of being attacked, shelled or bombed since the start of Putin's invasion. I'm sick with worry, my heart is breaking everyday and I fear for their future. My auntie also lives in the northwest border of Ukraine next to Belarus, where troops invasion is uncertain and scary. 

Like millions of others, they are desperate for essential supplies and medical help during the ongoing conflict. I believe the British-Ukrainian Aid charity is currently doing a great job, and I would like to make a contribution with your help, so that they can:

• cover the cost of victims rehabilitation treatment
• cover the cost of their medication
• buy prosthetics or any other specialised equipment
• arrange consultations with British specialists on medical treatment and psychological rehabilitation
• send medical and humanitarian aid to Ukraine 

So I thought I'd set up a fundraising webpage via JustGiving for the British-Ukrainian Aid campaign they are running. You can donate as much or as little as you can and all proceeds will go to the people of Ukraine. As an example, British-Ukrainian Aid will establish the most suitable venues for the provision of rehabilitation in each individual case; using the database of information obtained with the help of their local volunteers in Ukraine. They transfer funds directly to the individuals in need of medical help and organisations caring for them.

Any donation small or large will be deeply appreciated and will be purely to save peoples lives during and after this horrific war, and provide essential aid we take for granted here on a daily basis.
