WE DID IT!  WE COMPLETED THE BUPA GREAT MANCHESTER 10K RUN AND THE CHESHIRE TRIATHLON!  NOW WHAT?

HELEN'S STORY

I want to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research, mainly in memory of my dad - George Chapman - but also for several other family members and friends who have suffered from cancer, and for my very special husband, Ian, who thankfully survived this dreadful disease.  Now I've done the BUPA GMR 10k and the Cheshire Triathlon, I want to challenge myself further so I've entered into 3 more Novice Triathlons over the summer.

SHELLEY'S STORY

I am very pleased that I have tackled the BUPA Great Manchester 10k run and the Cheshire Triathlon with my friend Helen - we certainly spurred each other on!  This charity is one which is close to my heart as breast cancer is prevalent in my Mum's family.  Her grandmother died from it, my mum has had it and her sister is currently being treated for this terrible disease.  My husband James's aunt has also just been diagnosed so the implications for our family and future generations are scary.  I believe that research is the way forward so any donations to this worthy cause will be gratefully received.
