Losing a loved one, especially a child, is an incredibly difficult experience. My younger brother Shamir passed away from Leukaemia at just 12 years old. Charities and organisations provided us with much-needed emotional and financial support during his six-year battle with the disease. They made a significant difference in our lives and brought us smiles during our toughest moments.

I'm trying to raise donations by running a half marathon (yes a half marathon!) to raise donations for their continued efforts in providing care and support to those who need it most. It's my way of honouring Shamir's memory and the countless others who have battled similar illnesses. 

Any donation big or small would be well received (paramedics most welcomed too!).
